I wore this skirt on New Years Eve, and now I'm making it a bit more casual by adding an over-sized sweater, knee high socks, and sneaks. Mini skirts and knee high socks are one of my favorite looks. They're my jam ;)
Also, happy Valentines Day weekend? I guess? Is that a thing? I don't know. I was a little joking with the title, but California may as well be my valentine. To those of you with valentines, good for you, I guess. As for me, I'll be continuing my Valentines Day tradition of watching The Departed (which I've done for the last five years, at least). And this year I also get to add watching THE NEW EPISODE OF THE WALKING DEAD. So, there's always that :)
All of my clothes are older in this post (since I am currently unemployed and have no money to buy new clothes), so I don't have links to them. But if you're interested, my skirt is from Express, sweater is from PacSun, socks are Nordstrom, and sneaks are Converse. Alsooo, I stole the choker from my sixteen year old sister because I had one just like it when I was like 9 or 10 (along with the matching arm band) and I love it too much to give it back to her.
I love this look! And your hair is getting long! Are you growing it out? If so, we can bear the struggle of growing hair out together, because that's what I'm trying to do. But my ultimate goal length is shorter than your hair is in these pictures. Anyway. Not buying new clothes can be fun too, as it forces one to look at what they already have and possibly mix things up a bit. Like you've done with the skirt here, I'm guessing. I like!
