So, I'll admit it, there are a good amount of things I start watching because there are attractive men involved; I'm talking to you World Cup. So when The Red Wedding occurred on Game of Thrones I was serious about boycotting the show. I believe I even said aloud, to my empty room, that I would never watch the show again (that obviously didn't last). But I mean, come on, not Robb Stark. He was by far the most attractive one on the show (Jon Snow running a close second). I mean look at him...
Miss you Robb Stark. So now that it's just Jon Snow left, whenever I watch, I'm afraid that every episode may be his last, so I was very happy that he has made it through another season. Aaaand Arya is coming his way. I've been waiting and waiting for some of these darn Starks to be reunited, and they just cannot seem to make it happen. It's always really bothered me when people in shows are looking for someone and they just miss them, so I really hope Arya finds Jon. Also, where is the little Stark brother? He split with Bran and his peeps forever ago. I've been waiting all season for him to show up and he never did.
Anyway, the purpose of my hot guy rant was to say that I was very happy Jon Snow made it through another season. I was also glad that no one I was really attached to died, sorry papa Lannister, the Hound, and Tyrion's girlfriend. And speaking of Tyrion...whaat? murderer? what? I still love him.
General observations I had throughout the episode:
-I like Jaime Lannister more and more every episode, until he has sex with his sister, then I dislike him again.
-I dislike Cersei more and more every episode (and I didn't even like her to begin with), especially when she has sex with her brother.
-Ghost doesn't get nearly enough screen time.
-Arya is a bad ass and I love her, same goes for Daenerys. Who run the world? GIRLS
-I wasn't sad when anyone died in this episode. Okay, I was a little sad when the little boy from Love Actually got stabbed by those skeleton guys, but I kind of saw that one coming.
-I was, however, very sad when the dragons had to be chained up. Poor dragons.
-Does it make me a horrible person that I care more about the dragons and wolves than I do about the people? Probably, but those dragons were so sad. They were cryyying.
-I'd be perfectly happy watching an entire show with just Jon Snow's storyline.
-More wolves! I just want more wolves.
-Seriously, where is that youngest Stark? And why can't I remember his name?
-People keep saying, "winter is coming" but we have yet to see this winter. Where is it? How long is it going to take to get there? How do they know it's coming?
Whelp, that's about it. You can find me watching old episodes of Game of Thrones when Robb Stark was alive and all was well with the world.
